When I Honor Authority, I Am Blessed

Summary: God has put people of authority in our lives to help us grow and to keep us on the straight and narrow. If we want to have the life God has planned for us, we have to honor and obey their authority. In fact, the most important authority in your life – the one that you NEVER want to resist – is God. His authority is a strong protection from the evil in this world. In this lesson, your children are going to learn about how a Roman Centurion chose to recognize Jesus’ authority. They are going to learn how, like the Centurion, they should submit to and honor authority. It is wise to recognize authority, and when you do and you choose to honor that authority, you will be blessed!
