Jesus Has Good Plans For You
Summary: Guilt and shame is something everyone faces when they sin and do wrong. Especially when you’re a kid and you’ve done a lot of bad things, that guilt and shame can really add up and make you feel worthless. Many kids have even found themselves hearing things like,“I’m so disappointed in you” or “You’re such a bad kid!” After a while, those things really cause them to feel unloved and uncared for. In the Bible Story, the children will learn from the story of Zacchaeus encountering Jesus. They will recognize that Jesus truly cares about them and has good plans for their lives - no matter how “bad” they may be. The children will also learn that when they decide to follow God’s plans for their lives and do what’s right, EVERYTHING changes!
