Give Me Strength

Summary: Elijah had won a significant spiritual battle. He had defeated the prophets of Baal and proved that our God was the REAL God. It was a definite “high” moment in his ministry life. After a real “I Know It Sounds Crazy” start, in which he runs faster than a chariot, Elijah finds himself feeling very weak - both physically and emotionally. He drifts into a deep sleep. Elijah is visited by an angel who gives him food to eat. Elijah is strengthened in a big way during one of the weakest and lowest points of his life. In this lesson, the children will learn that when we are weak, God is strong. If we call on Him, He will give us the strength we need to overcome our own weakness.
